In some cases Domuso will pre-fund payments to the property that were made by renters in advance of confirmed settlement. We do this to accelerate fund availability for the properties.
This is common practice for payments submitted by eCheck because banks can take up to 72 hours to confirm account details.
If a payment that has been pre-funded is later declined (e.g. NSF), Domuso will issue a Return Payment and immediately notify both the renter and the property. A return payment will show as a credit on the Payment Reports.
