This guide provides quick answers to common questions about using Domuso—from onboarding and resident payments to check scanning support and system setup.
Onboarding Steps
- Property information is submitted for setup.
- Property managers complete Domuso’s self-paced online training.
- If using check scanning, contact Domuso support to install Domuso’s check scanning software.
- Property login credentials and resident invitations are automatically sent when the property goes live.
Online Training Access
All property managers must complete training before going live.
- Contact training@domuso.com to request access to the latest self-paced training.
- Include your property name and management company in the request.
Check Scan Installation
Installations are not offered between the 1st and 5th of each month due to rent cycle activity. Installation are available from the 6th through the end of the month.
To schedule installation or receive support:

- A Domuso representative will assist with installing the check scanner driver.
Domuso Login
- Managers will receive an email invitation with login credentials once payments are enabled
- Need access? Contact support@domuso.com with your property name and email.

Resident Account Setup
- Residents with an email in your accounting system will automatically receive an invite when Domuso goes live.
- If a resident signs up directly at domuso.com, their account must be manually linked in Domuso to their PMS profile for their balance to display properly.
Blocking or Allowing Payments
- Domuso reads payment restrictions from your property management system.
- Residents marked as Certified Funds Only will not be able to use standard ACH.
- Residents marked as Do Not Accept are fully blocked from making payments.
Domuso Payment Methods
Payment options may vary by property. Managers should confirm available payment methods with their Domuso account team.
Residents may have access to:
- ACH/eCheck
- Credit/Debit Card
- Domuso Online Certified
- MoneyGram
- Paper Check or Money Order (via scanner or Mobile Check Pay, if your property accepts them)
Domuso Online Certified
- A secure, instant alternative to money orders or cashier’s checks
- Verified with the resident’s bank
- Funds are guaranteed with no risk of return
- If declined, residents are prompted to try another method
Mobile Check Pay & Money Gram
If your property accepts paper checks and/or money orders:

Mobile Check Pay (if enabled): Residents can use their mobile device to scan and submit eligible checks
- Note: Some properties may allow only personal checks, not money orders. Confirm with your regional manager or contact domuso support.

MoneyGram: Residents may pay rent in cash at a participating location.
They will need:- Domuso account number
- Receive code
- Valid ID
- Cash and payment for the MoneyGram fee
