Overview
Domuso Mobile Check Pay lets property managers quickly scan and submit checks or money orders using the Domuso mobile app. This guide walks you through the full process, from app installation to final submission.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Download the Domuso App
- Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Search for Domuso and download the app.
- Log in using your Domuso username and password.
2. Select Your Property
- After logging in, you’ll see a list of properties.
- If you manage one property, it will auto-select. Otherwise, choose the correct one.
- Tap Scan Check to begin.
3. Review the Scanning Instructions
- You’ll see a short checklist to help guide your scan.
- Review the tips and tap Continue.
4. Enter Check Details
- Select today’s date.
- Enter the check amount.
- Choose the check type (e.g., Personal Check, Money Order).
- If unsure, tap Not Sure? to view examples and select the correct type.
5. Capture Check Images
- Tap Take Photo to capture the front of the check.
- Flip the check and take a photo of the back.
- Make sure both images are clear and fully show all four corners of the check.
6. Search for the Payee
- Use Quick Search to find the resident’s account by:
- Name
- Unit number
- Email address
- Select the correct resident, then tap Next.
7. Final Review
- Confirm the following details:
- Property name
- Resident name and unit
- Date received
- Check type
- Payment amount
- Once verified, tap Submit Payment.
8. Confirmation Screen
- You'll land on a Check Submission Complete page.
- From here, you can either scan another check or tap Return Home.
Pro Tip
For the best scan results:
- Place the check flat on a dark or contrasting background.
- Hold your camera steady and high enough to capture all corners.
- Ensure lighting is bright and even.
