As a property manager, you have control over which payment methods are available to residents. If you need to prevent a resident from making payments through Domuso, this can be done by updating their settings in your accounting system.
How to Block a Resident from Making Payments
To block or restrict payments for a specific resident:
- Log into your Accounting System
Domuso pulls payment method permissions from your property’s integrated accounting software. - Locate the Resident's Profile
Navigate to the resident record you want to update. - Update the Allowed Payment Methods
Change the resident’s Allowed Payment Methods to restrict or disable their ability to submit payments through Domuso. Changing the resident’s profile to cash equivalent only is done in your accounting system.
Note: These changes may take a few hours to sync with Domuso. Once updated, the resident will no longer see the option to make payments based on your configuration.
